Kitesurfing is a wind powered surface watersport using a kite and a board to move across the water.  Kitesurfing harnesses the power of the wind through a large inflatable type kite to propel a rider across the water on a small surfboard or a kiteboard (similar to a wakeboard).  Although the name includes surfing, kitesurfing does not need waves, the wind is the only force needed to power you along..huge jumps, carving waves or just simply cruising along, kitesurfing is awesome and you will fall in love with it!!

Q: Why do you not have specific course dates?
A: We teach full time - so when it's kitesurfing weather we run courses.  Kitesurfing is wind dependent so instead of putting out course dates in the future that may not materialise due to weather, we instead take a note of what you want (weekend or weekday lessons) and we then accomodate you.  We will take specific dates but ask for a little flexibility - with all weather dependent sports flexibility is a must!

Q: How does the booking system work?
A: Pick a course from the one or two day lessons and book at the bottom of the course page with Paypal or Debit card.  Once we receive your booking we will send you a confirmation email and then get you on the list for a course.
Q: Why choose Kitesurf Scotland?
A: Not only do we run the highest quality Kitesurf courses in the UK, we are also the best value.  We teach full time and if you take a look around the beach, you'll find many Kitesurfers have come through with Kitesurf Scotland. We are full time kitesurf instructors,  It's our bread and butter and as such our experience in getting the best out of you and helping you to acheive your dream of kitesurfing is unmatched.  We are always around to help you after your lessons.
Q:  Can you advise me on equipment to buy after the course?
A:  Not only can we advise you on equipment to buy, we also offer really competitive kite package deals.  In fact we give you all of your course money back off equipment packages and if we are not competitive, we will hapily price match.
